::Went to visit at 5.30am by Horse carriage. The experience was nice. Temple opens at 6 am. It is the temple of Horus. All the History of Horus, His parents Isis and Osiris is depicted very vividly and amazingly in the walls. Our guide explained very clearly. 30 mins is a good amount of time to see it. Significance of different pillars are depicted here and only a good guide can explain it nicely.

::Good temple. Colors are still there on wall. Must visit. Keep cap and shades with you.

::Beautiful temple! But you might wanna skip if it’s logistically not feasible. To visit this, one would have to take a private tour from ASWAN or Luxor, which costs a bit more like $40-70 by car. It’s a nice temple, but I felt it’s almost similar to others, and there’s better ones waiting - Karnak, Luxor, Philae, Komombo.

::Amazing palace of wisdom. Washed with a library of written history in its walls. The Temple of Horus at Edfu (as it is known today) is the most completely preserved. It allegedly dates back to 237 BC.

::Absolutely stunning. Lots of interesting tales and culminated history. Read up first or grab a guide who knows his stuff, you'll have a lot more "ahhaa" moments when you can actually understand what you're looking at. Definite recommendation.
