::Nice building, nice story to it, very detailed in the inside. The mosaic images are very nice and unique I think.

::Interesting, historic church. It's well worth visiting with a Coptic guide to learn something of Coptic history, architecture, and tradition while you are there. You need to use your imagination to visualize how the church was "hanging" when it was constructed. It was built over the gate/wall of the existing Roman fortress, but over the centuries, the fortress walls became somewhat buried as the ground level built up.

::Starting from the entrance, you enter a different world. While it's bustling and noisy outside, the church is very calm. We went up on the second floor to see the construction of the ceiling. Apparently the "hanging" part can only be seen from a glass floor near the church entrance. It's nice, but I thought we're able to observe how it's hanging in a more up-close manner.
