::Great folklorish gift shop

::Great spot for snatching some Egyptian gifts. Instead of cheesy pyramid paper weight souvenirs, go here and get items that is actually would want in your home.

::great experience, friendly people and no pressure. prices listed and very nice hand crafted items. i recommend this shop to any tourists in the area. its a bit hard to find though, in a small alleyway in an unmarked door and up some unmarked stairs. have fun!!

::“A Great Place to Shop Whether You're in Egypt or Abroad” 5 of 5 bubblesReviewed May 25, 2016 I absolutely love Nomad! It is one of my favorite places to shop in Cairo. I have been frequenting the store since 2004. They are a one stop shop for traditional Egyptian goods at reasonable prices and I always find a number of things I like from jewelry to bags. I moved back to the US and have been furnishing my new apartment in New York. I wanted one of the gorgeous carpets at Nomad but I was worried about how I could order one and ensure that it would arrive in one piece. Adam at Nomad was fantastic! He found a number of carpets that fit my specifications, sent me photos, and was prompt in replying to my emails. It only took one week from the time I decided on a carpet to the time it arrived at my door in New York! If you are overseas, Nomad is the place you can trust to have your purchases arrive on time with no hassle and no worries. Visited May 2016
