  Local koshary house with iconic metal tables. For me, it serves the best tasting koshary in downtown Cairo. Staff are lively and helpful. Do remember to tip them personally after settling your bill. For dessert, ask for 'roz bil laban ma'a eshta wa 'a-sal', which is rice pudding served with a slab of buffalo cream and drizzled with honey. Your taste buds will be grateful!
