  Great place with Egypt’s popular Koshery dish. It helps the menu is also in English and the prices are clear. You must try Tom and Basal if you’re in Cairo. Ask to be seated as they tend to be hidden in the back.

  The Kushry is delicious But the place is too tight almost you have no place to eat

  The first koshery I ever ate in my life. It's in my opinion still one of the best kosheries.

  Tom and Basal is not a place where tourist usually go, is a very simple local establishment for teenage Egyptians and families. The Koshary is great and surprisingly cheap. I tried koshary in three different places and here is where I liked it most.
