::Completely barbaric and inhuman I was there with a relative who was terminal and in severe pain with a broken limb. We decided to take him to the hospital primarily for pain control. Staff proceeded to catheterise him with no pain control of any kind. When we asked that he not be moved again to have his sheets changed before giving him some pain relief, we watched him get injected with supposedly “a very strong pain killer” only to discover later that this was just saline solution to give us the illusion that this request had been heeded. He was handled like a sack of potatoes, tied to the bed as he was in distress, told to shut up as he screamed in pain and was given nothing stronger than paracetamol. Thankfully he escaped from their clutches eventually when he passed away and we are now cursing the day we ever set foot in this god foresaken place. Completely unbelievable lack of compassion or ethics that, in most countries would be considered a criminal offence.
